In 1990, God led Doris and her family to Tabernacle Baptist Church and then to Yellow River Baptist Church through a merging of the two churches in January 1991.  She began working as church secretary on a part-time basis with plans to only work for a couple of years, but God had a different plan.  She has now been in her current position for 33 years, and is an invaluable member of our church staff.

She and her husband, Larry, will celebrate their 56th anniversary in February 2024.  God has blessed them with two sons and daughters-in-law, and five grandchildren.
