Yellow River Music Ministry

Psalms 150:6 says, "Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord.  Praise ye the Lord!"  Colossians 3:16 tells us, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom. Teaching and encouraging one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing with grace in your hearts unto the Lord".

We believe that music plays an important role in both personal and in corporate worship, but music should never become more important than the teaching and the preaching of the Word of God and in the unity within the body of Christ.  We believe that all music should be Biblically based and Christ-exalting; and music that allows everyone to participate, that leads the redeemed in lifting up their voice in unison to the Savior.

 

Our music ministry is a wonderful blend of contemporary choruses, traditional songs, and timeless hymns.  Our church is blessed with oustanding soloists, groups, and musicians, who minister through special songs during each service.  Additionally, on the last Sunday of every month, our entire congregation is invited to be part of our Whsoever Will Choir, as together we lift up a familiar song of praise together.

 

Revelation 4:8 tells us that angels in heaven, without ever stopping are saying, "Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty; which was, and is, and is to come".  Please join us as together, we lift our praise and thanksgiving to our Lord, through Christ-exalting, soul-inspiring music.
